**Position Summary**The warehouse shipping lead is a team leader wo is responsible for checking in drivers arriving to pick up shipments, overseeing the proper loading and validating of outbound shipments, providing signed BOLs to Logistics team for processing. The warehouse shipping lead also is responsible to maintain a proper flow of pallets into and out of the shipping lanes to keep them clear and well organized for future shipping.**Essential Duties and responsibilities**- Managing drivers arriving to pick up shipments and directing them to the correct door so product can be loaded efficiently.- Leading the shipping team members to ensure accuracy and timeliness of shipments being loaded and carriers leaving the facility.- Maintains quality service by following organization standards.- Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat and organized, complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.- May need to work occasional overtime and Saturdays, as directed by Warehouse Manager.- Other duties assigned as needed.**Minimum Qualifications**- High School diploma or equivalent.- Ability to work in a team environment, is reliable and dependable to complete work assignments.- Good at math.- Ability to maintain accurate records.- Good communication and organizational skills.- Strong attention to detail.- Must be able to work in a distribution environment.- Ability to lift, lower, or carry up to 50 lbs.- Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, hand trucks/dollies, and forklifts.**Working conditions**- Work is performed inside a warehouse where temperatures vary from cold to hot.**Physical requirements**- Great physical stamina and manual dexterity.- Ability to lift, lower, or carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted.- Able to withstand temperatures in a typical warehouse environment.- Must be able to stand for a prolonged period.**Experience**:- Warehouse: 2 years (required)**Language**:- English in a intermediate level (required)Work Location: In person
