Where no two days are the same.**YOUR ROLE**- Proficient in Android (Kotlin/Java) as the primary development platform, with a strong understanding of mobile architecture and best practices.- Ensure superior code quality by enforcing best practices, conducting code reviews, and maintaining clean, maintainable code.- Implement and advocate for automation testing strategies to enhance code reliability and reduce regression issues.- Proficient in Jira, Git, GitHub Actions, and other development tools to streamline development workflows and CI/CD processes.- Oversee the mobile app release cycle, ensuring smooth deployment and adherence to release schedules.- Guide and mentor, a team of developers and testers, fostering a culture of learning, innovation, and collaboration.- Work closely with the Product Manager to understand business needs, refine requirements, and align development with the product roadmap.- Educate stakeholders by providing clear technical insights, enabling informed decision-making on product features, timelines, and trade-offs.- Define and drive the mobile technical roadmap, stay updated with industry trends, and optimize development processes for efficiency.**YOUR PROFILE**- 8+ Years of related experience as an Android Technical Lead or similar roles.- Proven experience as an Android Developer.- Proficiency in Java and Kotlin, with a deep understanding of their ecosystems.- Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle.- Experience with version control systems, such as Git.- Knowledge of the Android architecture components, MVVM, and other design patterns.- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.- Excellent communication in English.- Experience with Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.**WHAT YOU’LL LOVE ABOUT WORKING HERE?**- At Capgemini Engineering, we encourage flexibility in how, when, and where people get their work done, allowing a better work-life balance, and greater empowerment.
