Mission Support product transfers by managing transfer‑specific activities, coordinating the transfer of equipment and maintenance procedures, writing and reviewing technical documents, providing training plans, and performing first‑article inspections. Key Responsibilities Drive product transfer projects, ensuring all required test equipment, documentation, tools and engineering requirements are transferred. Coordinate and deliver training plans for technicians. Perform first‑article inspections and validate procedures. Review and analyze system engineering documentation and maintenance processes. Monitor testing and analyze data to verify product performance against customer and design specifications. Evaluate engineering drawings, schematics and hydro‑electro‑mechanical sub‑assemblies. Collaborate with project engineers, project managers and cross‑functional teams. Manage time, milestones, and departmental budgets for product transfer projects. Job Knowledge Expertise in reading circuit schematics, understanding GD&T and engineering drawing standards, designing wiring and cabling, electrical packaging, computer interfaces, communication protocols, power systems, and using electronics test equipment. Familiarity with PLM (Enovia) and ERP/MRP tools is a plus. Required Competencies Bachelor's degree in Engineering. 3‑5 years experience in project and program transfer. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent documentation and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project planning tools (MS Project). Experience with ITAR‑regulated hardware and access (U.S. Persons required). Travel & Physical Demands Potential travel between Irvine, California and other locations. Expected to remain in a stationary position, use computer and office equipment, lift up to 10 pounds occasionally. Work Environment Split between office and laboratory work.
