Established in 1874, we have grown to become the world leader in mining and civil blasting with a diverse of team of more than 13,000 across the world.It’s an exciting time to join us - we are shaping the future of mining through digital and automated technologies, embracing new ways of thinking, pioneering innovation and reimagining the way we work.**About the role**:Administration, supervision, support, reporting and continuous development of analyses, processes, action plans, equipment and control devices in SHES, environment, health, handling, transportation, storage, containment and monitoring of hazardous substances and waste, emissions and ergonomic conditions, in accordance with the management system, legal regulations, SHES global standards and Orica objectives.**What you will be doing**:Lead with the operational, service and internal and external functional areas, risk analysis, critical equipment, efficiency of controls, processes, behaviors, conditions and action and/or emergency plans of routine and non-routine processes in accordance with the environment and health within Orica global SHES standards, legal norms and management system.Management, administration, supervision and reporting of planning in the handling of hazardous substances and waste, emission indicators, energy consumption, water consumption, handling of hazardous waste, health and ergonomic conditions in the manufacturing center.Manage, maintain, administer and report the database and evidence of monitoring and/or compliance with plans, processes, programs, standards and other requirements regarding SHES, management systems, internal / external audits and certifications, legal standards and requirements of the authorities.Propose continuous improvement projects.**Your qualifications**:- 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role- University Degree in Engineering; Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical or related. (preferably)or Technical qualification as Paramedic, Emergency Medical Technician.- Legislative qualification in Official Mexican Standards, SEMARNAT, PROFEPA, Explosives Management Law. (preferably)- SHES certifications as Security Supervisor endorsed by a certifying entity.
