Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.- Partners with Operations Director and local leadership on human resources planning, strategy, and operations issues.- Participates in the annual HR PY budgeting process for select services and assignments.- Implements and reviews personnel policies and procedures. Recommends innovative approaches to affect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.- Assists local Payroll Specialist as required to process payroll including gathering and preparing payroll data, creating payroll reports, and processing payroll tax deposits in partnership with external payroll vendor to ensure accurate and timely compliance.- Participates in new employee orientation process as needed on local requirements.- Administers the termination process, including exit interviews. Analyzes trends in turnover and makes appropriate recommendations to management.- Assists managers in staff counseling and development. Partners with Managers on developing corrective action program when necessary and monitors through final disposition.- Monitors performance/metrics program- Advises managers of salary ranges for exempt and non-exempt classifications or region/country specific benchmarking. Consults with managers in the preparation of salary administration and checks for fair, equitable, and competitive compensation practices.- Coordinates Employee Relations programs. May serve as advisor for employee clubs of locations serviced.- Partners with Global Benefits Manager with the implementation / enhancements of employee benefits and assists third party administrators regarding claims management. Acts in concert with objectives of safety and health programs by monitoring workplace with operations.- Assists with Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and other special programs as identified.- Serves as company representative at university, professional, and civic organizations, including regional HR organizations, university, and college professional experience programs, and others as required.- Occasional domestic and international travel may be required.- Valid visa and passport is desirable.- Valid driver's license required.Qualifications:- Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related area required.- Minimum seven (7) years Human Resources experience required, with minimum two (2) years supervisory experience.- Proficiency with prevailing office software and computer knowledge required.- Experience with prevailing HRMS/payroll software preferred.- Must possess strong interpersonal communication skills.- Must have a team-player mentality with a strong collaborative & influential skillset.- Advanced English communication skills is mandatory.
