About the Role

We are looking for a Resource Manager to join the Workday Global Resource Management team, focusing on the staffing and resource planning for Workday’s EMEA Practice. This position will support a national practice by fulfilling open project roles with Workday consultants and ecosystem partners. This person will work with Functional Resource managers in EMEA, Mexico, and Poland. A teammate that can work across many different organizations. Some duties include staffing administration, generation/execution/management of partner contracts, light reporting, and PSA system support, and should have a passion for quality and customer service, and enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. They will be detail oriented, organized, self-motivated, results oriented, and a phenomenal communicator. As a member of the Resource Management team, they will interact with various cross functional teams in support of Workday Resource Management and Professional Services. This role will lead to acquiring knowledge of Resource Management and collaborating within a team to fulfill customer requests. They will work closely with the global Resource Management, Workday and Planning Consulting and Delivery organizations, Legal, Finance, Accounts Receivable, Delivery Services Systems, and Delivery Enablement teams.

Resource Management:

Workday Staffing:

  • Assign Workday Professional Services and partner resources to meet project requirements
  • Work directly with market segments to supervise and fulfill all open resource needs
  • Contribute to staffing discussions regarding risk areas i.e. supply/demand, over/understaffed, shortage of a specific skill etc. and review these with internal customers
  • Participate in pipeline reviews for visibility on future projects
  • Collaborate across different technical groups within Workday and partner organizations
  • Contribute to special projects with senior RMs/PMO/consulting leadership

Workday EMEA Ecosystem Partner Staffing:

  • Relationship management with Workday partners: liaising frequently with partners to understand resource availability and open staffing needs. This may include: Setting up and running bi-weekly or monthly calls with partners to understand resource availability and open staffing needs
  • Staff open subcontracting needs for Workday and partner primed projects
  • Qualify resources by validating certifications, work experience, prior Workday deployment experience
  • Supervise open staffing needs, providing proactive updates to all interested parties, and closing open requests/inquiries in a timely manner
  • Create and complete partner agreements (Schedule A’s) for each project
  • Setting up and assigning all EMEA Partner consultants to internal systems
  • Execution of field Resource Management partner payment responsibilities at month end, in partnership with Accounting

Operational duties:

  • Assist with data management and upkeep in all internal systems as it relates to Professional Services resources
  • Assist resource manager(s) and field resources with reports related to the Professional Services business.
  • Coordinate meetings with extended Resource and Consulting Management teams and other groups, note taking, tracking of action items, and detailing outcomes
  • Work with Delivery (Delivery Directors and Engagement Managers) on consultant forecast accuracy
  • Help to handle Professional Services Automation (PSA) system including:
    • Booking approvals – ie, approval for resource requests on projects

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in analyzing data, reports and dashboards and a willingness to “dive into” systems and formulate new and better ideas on how to better support work mates
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google, Smartsheets and Miro
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with conflicting priorities. This is a high-volume role where individuals must be reliable, accurate, and provide rapid turnaround
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills - both written and verbal
