ABOUT THE ROLE The Northern Regional Director of the Activation to Impact team, is a senior leadership position responsible for the operational management and strategic success of the Activation to Impact (A2I) program on behalf of High Noon and Lucky One within their assigned region. Your role is to ensure consistent, high-quality execution of brand standards, oversee performance against established KPIs, and maintain critical relationships with Gallo and distributor stakeholders. You will act as the bridge between high-level strategy and market execution, ensuring all regional activities remain compliant with alcohol beverage laws. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Recruitment & Training: Support agency’s Project Lead and Recruiter in all efforts associated with interviewing, vetting, and onboarding for A2I Specialists within your region. Performance Management: Manage regional performance against established KPIs, providing consistent coaching and professional development to the Specialist team. HR & Supervision: Oversee team management, including fiduciaries, HR issues, and off-boarding if necessary. Strategic Oversight & Execution Operational Management: Provide leadership and oversight for a team of Specialists, ensuring they effectively manage their assigned universe of priority accounts. Brand Standards: Ensure consistent, high-quality execution of approved merchandising standards, staff education, and visibility programs across all accounts in the region. Resource Deployment: Ensure program resources and Point-of-Sale (POS) materials are deployed effectively and in compliance with Gallo policies. Stakeholder Coordination & Communication Gallo & Distributor Partnership: Coordinate closely with Strategic Group and Gallo stakeholders to ensure regional activities align with national brand strategy. Strategic Advisement: Analyze and advise High Noon and Lucky One regarding sales and marketing opportunities and \"below-the-line\" advertising within your markets. Meeting Participation: Participate in integrated meetings, conference calls, and annual planning meetings regarding the brand portfolio. Fiduciary & Data Integrity Reporting & Recaps: Provide timely program recap reports, financial snapshots, and annual budget reconciliations to Gallo. Market Intelligence: Document and share market-level observations—including competitive activity and execution quality—to support program optimization. Budgetary Oversight: Maintain fiduciary supervision over regional budgets and ensure all expenses are documented and pre-approved. CORE COMPETENCIES Strategic Leadership: Ability to translate brand strategy into actionable field plans for a large team. Operational Excellence: Mastery of the \"Four Advocacy Pillars\": Availability, Visibility, Advocacy, and Promotion. Compliance Stewardship: Deep understanding of federal, state, and local alcohol beverage laws to ensure the team operates within legal boundaries. Data-Driven Decision Making: Ability to utilize market intelligence and field reporting to optimize regional performance. QUALIFICATIONS Experience: Significant experience in a marketing or sales leadership role relevant to Alcohol Beverage, Hospitality, or Agency management. Education: Bachelor’s Degree required. Compliance: Must be 21 years of age or older and able to obtain any required local or state liquor licenses. Travel: Ability to travel significantly within the assigned region (Northern, Eastern, or Western) and a valid driver's license with a safe driving record. EDUCATION AND CRITERIA REQUIREMENTS 3-5 years management experience B.A. or B.S. in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations or related field Proficient in Microsoft office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook) Comprehensive understanding of the alcohol beverage industry including compliance; three tiers; distributor / agency relationship; hospitality; trade engagement REPORTING RELATIONSHIP Reports directly to SG’s Vice President.
