Your expert knowledge of accounting and finance, along with your experience in tax planning and compliance, will be instrumental in improving our domestic and international tax strategies while maintaining compliance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (USGAAP). You will work closely with our cross-functional teams and external auditors to ensure accurate financial reporting and minimize tax risks.**Responsibilities**:- Develop and implement tax plans and strategies to optimize the company's tax position- Ensure compliance with all relevant domestic and international tax laws and regulations- Oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness- Monitor changes in tax legislation and update internal policies and procedures accordingly- Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits and provide necessary documentation- Assist in transfer pricing documentation and ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations- Manage tax provisions and calculations, including deferred tax assets and liabilities- Conduct internal tax audits to identify any potential issues and recommend corrective actions- Provide guidance and support in resolving any tax-related inquiries or disputes- Liaise with government authorities to address tax-related matters and maintain positive relationships- Stay up-to-date with changing tax laws, regulations, and industry best practices- Monitor and advise on the potential financial impact of tax planning decisions**Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree or certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in tax management and compliance- Strong knowledge and understanding of USGAAP and tax regulations- Prior experience working in the automotive industry is highly desirable- Proven ability to develop and implement tax strategies to optimize tax positions- In-depth knowledge of transfer pricing regulations and experience in managing transfer pricing documentation- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, external auditors, and government authorities- Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tax preparation tools- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work under tight deadlines- Fluency in English and SpanishAs a Tax and Compliance Manager, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our company's financial operations and contribute to our continued success.
