Master Planner – Jabil Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mexico – MX$35,000.00 per month Job Summary Manage all planning activities for the dedicated assigned workcell, ensuring that production plans are accurate, achievable, and aligned with customer demand and contractual obligations. Mentor Production Planners and Document Coordinators, fostering continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintain efficient capacity and customer sizing. Maintain accurate revenue forecasting. Maintain material control and liability. Develop, load, and reconcile the Master Production Schedule (MPS) into Jabil’s ERP system, including Purchase Order (PO) coverage. Ensure MPS is 100 % accurate, achievable, and meets a 95 % goal. Own production planning, bill of materials (BOM) and document control, with or without additional support. Analyze material and capacity requirements and communicate constraints to the workcell and customers. Maintain and update the workcell’s capacity planning model, resolving uneven capacity utilization. Meet daily with the workcell and manufacturing team to assess schedules, optimize run quantities, and minimize changeovers. Maintain the latest customer contracts and understand terms regarding material liability, purchase pricing, and internal production duties. Act as the workcell’s expert on planning activities, ensuring no production starts without a valid PO, adequate materials, accurate BOM, and routing. Lead creation of BOMs and routings to track WIP assemblies and inventory movements accurately. Lead End‑of‑Life (EOL) management, chairing meetings 30 days before the last planned build date to develop tactics and support RMAs. Manage the internal workcell purge process. Adhere to all safety, health, and company security policies. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience, Master’s with 3 years, or PhD with no experience; equivalent education/training/experience acceptable. APICS certification and supervisory experience preferred. Thorough knowledge of MRP, lead times for component types, internal run rates, test development lead times, machine programming lead times, and the chronological sequence of manufacturing events.
