Overview Join to apply for the Project Engineer role at Bastian Solutions . Project Engineers work closely with Field Application Engineers to create proposals, design material handling systems, and manage projects. They have a high level of responsibility and autonomy to make decisions and may work with technologies including robotics, mobile robotics, autonomous vehicles, AGVs, and related systems. Responsibilities Spend time in system design, site supervision, troubleshooting, and project management. Maintain project budget, schedule, and implementation plan. Assist with AutoCAD drawings, quotes, spare parts orders, and other general design tasks. Improve project execution processes (Gantts, continuous improvement). Resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction with Support. Assist with site installation, including material inventory, schedule tracking, and supervising subcontractors. Work directly with Field Application Engineers to ensure smooth project transitions. Develop in-depth understanding of all facets of material handling, including equipment, suppliers, and applications. Inform stakeholders and subcontractors of project or schedule changes. Provide customer support for ongoing and warranty projects. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in engineering required; Mechanical, Industrial, or Systems disciplines preferred. Ability to speak English fluently. Experience in automated material handling preferred. Experience with AutoCAD or similar software. Demonstrated leadership abilities. Strong technical problem-solving capability (hardware, controls). Excellent scheduling and organizational skills. Willing and transparent communicator; team player with a customer-focused mindset. Travel 25% regional travel to customer sites (travel will vary by project).
