We are looking for your talent Join our team to work in a creative and multidisciplinary environment with professionals from the United States, Denmark, Hungary, among others.Main Responsibility:The Quality Project Manager (QPM) is responsible for supporting the development, alignment, and industrialization of the Quality Planning Process within Product Development projects across all business entities, including Product Management, R&D, Production Sites, Distribution Centers, and key Suppliers. The QPM ensures the Quality Planning workstream deliverables are achieved, supporting project goals related to time, cost, specifications, and quality. The role also drives continuous improvement, ensures standardization, and develops global quality planning competencies.Key Responsibilities:Quality Management System- Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (applicable ISO or internal standards), including internal audits.- Manage and coordinate internal and external audits to ensure compliance and certification readiness.- Support preparation and execution of Management Review Meetings with a focus on New Solution Development (NSD) content.- Ensure alignment with corporate systems, procedures, and processes.- Drive proactive and prevention-based quality controls within the project phase.- Promote standardization and best practice implementation across business entities involved in NSD projects.New Solution Development (NSD)- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of NSD process workstreams.- Develop historical analysis on predecessor products to inform the quality plan and prevent repetition of past issues.- Manage the execution of Quality Plans across multiple NSD projects, ensuring cross-functional alignment with sourcing, R&D, and supplier quality teams.- Support the definition and achievement of project Quality Targets.- Identify and lead improvement projects impacting Total Cost of Poor Quality (TCOPQ), including warranty, process losses, inspection, and quality assurance.- Collaborate with Test Engineers to ensure test and verification plans align with reliability requirements.- Facilitate quantitative risk assessment processes within product development.- Ensure timely identification, escalation, and resolution of quality risks within projects.-- Manage documentation, gate reviews, schedules, and KPIs related to NSD Quality Planning.- Track and report execution and effectiveness of quality plan deliverables, ensuring defined targets and KPIs are met.Stakeholder Management- Collaborate closely with Product Management, R&D, Production, Distribution, and Quality teams at local, regional, and global levels.- Assist customers during project phases in resolving quality-related issues by identifying root causes and implementing acceptable solutions.Experience- 5+ years of experience in Quality Management, Quality Engineering, or Project Management within a manufacturing or product development environment.- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical discipline (Master’s preferred).Qualifications & Skills- Strong knowledge of Quality Planning methodologies (APQP, FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, PPAP, etc.).- Proficiency in risk management tools and statistical analysis techniques.- Solid understanding of manufacturing and product development processes.- Experience with quality metrics, KPIs, and continuous improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma, 8D, PDCA).- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at multiple organizational levels.- Advanced organizational and project management abilities with attention to detail and follow-through.- Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are an asset.What makes us different?At Nilfisk, we know that great collaborators make a great company.
