Role Overview Our client is seeking a talented Data Architect to support the development and implementation of large-scale Modern Data Platforms, Business Intelligence (BI), and Analytics solutions for our clients. This role is highly technical and requires a thorough understanding of data architecture and modelling concepts. Additionally, it demands strong analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills. Effective communication and collaboration abilities are essential, alongside the motivation to achieve results in a dynamic business environment. Job Location: Sliema, Malta Work Type: Hybrid Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Working Hours: GMT +1 Salary: Base + Benefits (Paid in Euros €) Relocation: VISA & Relocation Package Included Requirements Experience in designing and implementing Azure Data solutions using services such as: Microsoft Fabric Microsoft Power BI Solid experience in designing and building data and analytics solutions Have working knowledge of Azure Purview An understanding of Data Governance frameworks Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Customer-service oriented. Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment. Proficient in spoken and written English. Graduate-level education in Computer Science or a relevant field, or a widely recognised professional qualification at a comparable level. Formal training and/or certification on related technologies is highly valued. Solid experience with development approaches such as CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment). Working knowledge of Azure DevOps Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 products, the Dataverse, and Microsoft Power Platform will be considered an asset. 5+ years’ experience in Data and Analytics technologies Ability to build strong relationships and shows technical expertise to deliver quality, client-centric solutions using Microsoft technologies. Ability to develop robust architectural frameworks and demonstrate technical expertise to deliver high-quality, client-focused solutions, ensuring effective preparation and execution of projects. Exhibits strong leadership skills, guiding cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives while fostering collaboration and innovation in data architecture solutions. Advocate innovation both within the firm and with clients and promotes collaboration amongst teams. Excellent attention to detail and ability to ensure documents are consistent in language, terminology, and style. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and manage a range of relationships in a complex environment. Strong communication skills (verbal, written and listening): an ability to present information concisely, to communicate in a manner applicable to all levels. Ability to produce high quality and professional presentations. Flexible approach to work with a focus on delivery to deadlines and high standards. Ability to handle highly confidential information with tact and discretion. Responsibilities Assist in architecting and general design of Modern Data Platforms, across Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, Data Lakehouses, Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Analytics solutions. Assist in data modelling, design and build. Help to enforce technical architecture and documentation standards, policies and procedures. Collaborating with business experts and customers to understand business needs and translating business requirements into data functionality. Assisting in the scoping, estimation, and task planning for assigned projects. Adhere to project work plans to meet defined functionality, objectives, and timelines. Stay informed on the latest advancements and best practices in data engineering and analytics. Produce comprehensive technical architectural documentation to support the data and analytics solutions. Address customer queries and issues promptly to ensure high levels of satisfaction. Provide hands-on guidance and mentorship to team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
