**Position: Operations Manager****Location**:Querétaro, Mexico**English**:Advanced**Reports to**:General Director**Functional Line**:Regional Operations Director**Purpose of the Role**:To ensure proper supervision and management of all resources and activities of the production site, in compliance with local laws, regulations, and the standards defined at Company and Group level, ensuring cost effectiveness, production quality, respect of timelines, and safety.**Key Responsibilities**:**Operational and Management**Legally represent the company when applicable for all unit-related activities.Supervise industrialization of new products and authorize plant/process changes.Oversee plant development (buildings, machinery, warehouses) and propose investments.Monitor production planning and scheduling to ensure customer satisfaction.Analyze site performance through KPIs to define continuous improvement actions.Monitor manufacturing costs and site-related expenses (personnel, maintenance, utilities).Collaborate with Purchasing on raw materials, packaging, and product cost reduction.**Organization and Human Resources**Define team goals aligned with company vision and priorities.Evaluate team performance, provide feedback, and promote development.Participate in recruitment processes and headcount planning.**Safety, Health, and Environmental Protection (EHS)**Ensure compliance with legal EHS requirements.Manage relationships with external authorities and certifications.Promote safety culture, hygiene, and environmental standards within the site.Implement EHS policies in alignment with Group procedures.Manage emergency responsibilities and incident response analysis.**Profile Requirements**:**Education**:Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field*️ **Languages**:English - Advanced***Experience**:Minimum 5 years as Operations ManagerMinimum 5 years as Production or Plant Manager**Technical Competencies**:Operations Management - AdvancedProduction Planning - AdvancedMaintenance Scheduling - AdvancedQuality and Process Control - AdvancedSafety, Environment, and Plant Regulations - Advanced**Core Skills and Competencies**:✔️ Goal-oriented and problem-solving mindset✔️ Strong leadership and team development✔️ Conflict management and decision-making autonomy✔️ Stress and time management✔️ Change management and cost awarenessAre you ready to lead operations in a global, innovative, and sustainable company?**MAPEI: Building a better world through innovation, teamwork, and talent development.
