**HOW YOU WILL DO IT**As a Hardware Engineer at Plexus Engineering Solutions, you will contribute to the design and develop electrical hardware for products across a wide range of industries. This role collaborates with talented Software, Mechanical, Quality, Manufacturing, Test, and User Center Design engineers from all over the globe, and it sees all phases of the product development life cycle - from idea and conceptualize; through requirements, design, and development; to transitioning to manufacturing and into the market. You will collaborate directly with a huge portfolio of world renowned customers to develop the next generation of products that have a positive impact on millions of people worldwide.- Design electronic circuitry for industrial, healthcare/life sciences, and aerospace/defense market sectors- Utilize schematic capture tools such as Cadence/Altium, define printed circuit board (PCB) constraints and layer stack up, and oversee PCB layout for moderate-to-complex designs- Implement good design practices for Signal Integrity and EMI mitigation- Analyze circuit designs with simulation tools such as SPICE- Take detailed measurements of hardware using standard electrical measurement tools including oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers to assess circuit performance and inform design improvements- Demonstrate problem-solving skills in PCBA debugging/troubleshooting of typical issues encountered within the product development cycle- Collaborate with a team of other digital, analog, software, mechanical, and system engineers to review and improve hardware designs- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Bio-medical related Engineering fields will be considered if strong Computer Engineering background can be shown- Work style assessments and performance evaluations guide development at every career stage- Online development library provides on-demand learning resources- Classroom, online, and experiential learning opportunities available- Coaching and development supported by online development goal setting**Preferred/Key word Software**:Cadence, Altium, Allegro, Mentor, Ansys, Spice, Hyperlynx**Education/Experience Qualifications**:- Student working toward a Bachelor’s degree or Associates Degree in related field- This document does not represent a contract of employment and is not intended to capture every possible assignment the incumbent could be asked to perform._
