AMREP is looking for talented Manufacturing and purchasing engineer with excellent investigative, supplier search skilled and manufacturing process knowledge and experience to implement sustaining sourcing activities for our clients. You’ll use your expertise in supplier search and contact to ensure the satisfaction of our clients. As a dedicated professional, you will also be responsible for the liaison between customer and suppliers and search for the most suitable manufacturers.**Responsibilities**:Using your strong knowledge of Purchasing and manufacturing, some of your responsibilities are:- Skilled in web search- Identify best suitable suppliers for different projects- Request for quotations- Able to handle multiple projects at once- Update customers on their sourcing projects- Study and understand customer requirements- Provide occasionally assistance on supplier’s site.- Relationship Building with vendors.- At least 5 years’ experience in purchasing engineering role, qualifications in electrical/electronics, manufacturing, industrial, têxtile and/or mechanical engineering.- Advanced problem solving skills- Ability to work independently.- English at professional proficiency- Able to read blueprints (desirable)- Experience in process development and generating improvements.- Experience in manufacturing environmentsTipo de puesto: Tiempo completo, Medio tiempo, Por tiempo indeterminadoSalario: $10,000.00 - $12,000.00 al mesHorario:- Horario flexible
