Power BI Developer - Desarrollador de Power BI In the role of a Power BI Developer , you will design, develop, test, and maintain reports and dashboards built using Power BI. You will play a key role in creating high-level design artifacts, deliver high-quality code for a module, participate in loading and testing data, analyze data warehousing systems, and support implementation, transition, and warranty activities. You will be part of a learning culture that encourages teamwork, collaboration, excellence, and diversity. Locations: Mexico (Monterrey, Guadalajara, Mexico City). Applicants must overlap US hours. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. At least 6 years of experience in Information Technology with a minimum of 4 years of experience in various aspects of Power BI development. Must have last worked with Power BI around one year ago. Proficient English communication skills. Mandatory Skillsets Report and Dashboard Development experience in Power BI with experience in data warehousing and visualization projects. Detailed Skill Expectations Power BI development experience: 4 years of development experience in Power BI. Strong understanding of Reporting and Data visualization concepts. Strong hands‑on experience in Power BI development and dashboard design. Proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling concepts. Working knowledge of SQL and ETL processes. Familiarity with Snowflake is a plus. Good understanding of BI best practices and performance tuning. Good to have experience in Tableau to Power BI migration projects. Other Relevant Experience Experience in software development life cycle. Working in an agile environment, working on new systems development and enhancement/maintenance of existing systems. Design and develop interactive Power BI reports and dashboards using DAX, Power Query, and best practices. Build efficient data models to support business reporting requirements. Ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance with governance standards. Optimize Power BI performance for large datasets and complex calculations. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights. Provide support and training for Power BI adoption across teams.
