Your tasksAs a process engineer you will be responsible for developing and optimizing the hose manufacturing process to improve efficiency, quality and cost.- Process design and improvement: analyze workflow, equipment lay out and production data to identify areas for process improvements. Tracking and improve the process KPIs such as: OEE, cycle time, scrap and defective, etc.Lead continuous improvement projects.Perform Pokayokes & Kaizen events.Perform times & motion improvements.Leader in the implementation of Continental technical standards applicable to hoses manufacturing process.- Quality assurance: collaborate with quality assurance teams to investigate and solve product issues and defects.- Technical support: provide technical support to the production team, troubleshooting and resolving process-related issues.**Profile**:At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering and continuous improvement implementation projects.Prior experience in hose manufacturing process is a plus.- 5s.- Core tools: SPC, PFMEA, CP, MSA, APQP, PPAP.- IATF 16949/ ISO 9001.- Lean manufacturing.- Continuous improvement.- Problem Solving.- AutoCAD 2D.**Offer**:At Continental we are committed to building an inclusive and discrimination-free ecosystem in Mexico, these principles are rooted in our corporate philosophy and culture.
