Your responsibilities will include:- Covering whole classes for short-term absences of teachers, ensuring continuity of learning.- Delivering planned lessons and activities to individuals, small groups, and whole classes.- Supporting pupils with their learning, both academically and socially, adapting approaches to meet diverse needs.- Assisting with the assessment and tracking of pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers.- Preparing and resourcing learning materials and maintaining a stimulating classroom environment.- Collaborating effectively with teachers, support staff, parents, and external agencies.- Promoting positive behaviour and fostering a nurturing atmosphere.- Contributing to the wider life of the school, including extra-curricular activities.We are looking for someone who:- Holds the HLTA qualification or equivalent.- Has proven experience of working in a primary school setting.- Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate pupils.- Possesses a strong understanding of the primary curriculum.- Is proactive, adaptable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.Please send your CV and a covering letter outlining your suitability for the role to Amy at Education Personnel.We work with you to find your perfect placement We do not believe in "square pegs and round holes".
