In 2024, DBM strengthened its international presence with the creation of DBM Optix Mexico in San Luis Potosí, dedicated to the development and production of optical parts for the North American market.**ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**- Ensure the implementation and deployment of the DBM quality system;- Maintain IATF certification.- Manage the development and implementation of standard control procedures and methods that ensure consistency and alignment between the various stakeholders: suppliers, research and development, production and quality;- Establish, develop and periodically evaluate the quality system;- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and manage relationships with regulatory bodies;- Review and approve adequate plans for performance indicators;- Plan and control the implementation of internal and external quality audits and surveys (customer satisfaction, process analysis, etc.);- Be the quality point of contact for local customers;- Work closely with production, purchasing, customer service and engineering departments;- Lead the management and investigation of customer complaints;- Prepare production documentation in accordance with standard operating procedures;- Solve quality issues by reviewing standards, operating procedures and conducting audits.**QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**- Bilingualism (English and Spanish), both oral and written;- Have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment;- Have at least 5 years of relevant experience in quality management;- Mastery of computer tools (Microsoft Office suite);- In-depth knowledge of quality systems, policies, procedures and ISO/IATF 16949.**Assets**:- Hold the Chief Auditor certification;- Know the automotive industry.****DBM Group es una empresa canadiense con más de 50 años de experiência, especializada en soluciones ópticas de alta precisión para el sector de iluminación automotriz. En 2024, DBM ha consolidado su presencia en México con la creación de DBM Optix México en San Luis Potosí, desde donde impulsa el desarrollo y la producción de piezas ópticas para el mercado norteamericano.**ROL Y RESPONSABILIDADES**:Reportando al director de planta, el rol del Gerente de Calidad es planear, organizar, dirigir y controlar las actividades de la función de calidad de la compañía, proveer liderazgo para mantener nuestros altos estándares de calidad y preservar nuestra acreditación IATF 16949 en la planta de San Luis Potosí (México). El especialista en calidad es responsable del desempeño operativo y de la aplicación continua de las buenas prácticas, las políticas de la empresa y las normas de cumplimiento en las actividades de producción de la planta de México.- Garantizar la aplicación y el despliegue del sistema de calidad de DBM;- Mantener la certificación IATF;- Gestionar el desarrollo y la aplicación de procedimientos estándar y métodos de control que garanticen la coherencia y la alineación entre proveedores, investigación y desarrollo, producción y calidad;- Aplicar, desarrollar y evaluar periódicamente el sistema de calidad;- Garantizar el cumplimiento de la normativa aplicable y gestionar las relaciones con los organismos reguladores;- Revisar y aprobar los planes adecuados para los indicadores de rendimiento y los gastos presupuestarios;- Planificar y controlar la realización de auditorías y encuestas de calidad internas y externas (satisfacción del cliente, análisis de procesos...);- Ser el punto de contacto de calidad para los clientes locales;- Trabajar en estrecha colaboración con los departamentos de producción, compras, servicio al cliente e ingeniería;- Dirigir la gestión e investigación de las reclamaciones de los clientes;- Preparar la documentación de producción de acuerdo con los procedimientos operativos estándar;- Supervisar y/o realizar los métodos de inspección y calificación de las piezas producidas (preparación y aplicación de planes de inspección y técnicas estadísticas) para garantizar la conformidad del producto con los requisitos del cliente;- Resolver los problemas de calidad mediante la revisión de las normas, los procedimientos operativos y la realización de auditorías.**PROFIL REQUERIDO**:- Bilingüe (inglés y español), tanto escrito como hablado;- Título universitario en calidad o plásticos o cualquier campo relacionado- Un mínimo
