**Position Overview**:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Collections Manager to join our team. The Collections Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all collections activities and strategies to ensure timely and effective recovery of outstanding debts. This role is crucial in maintaining our financial health and supporting our mission to provide sustainable lending solutions to businesses in the logistics industry.**Key Responsibilities**:- Develop and implement comprehensive collections strategies to minimize overdue accounts and bad debt.- Monitor and analyze collections performance metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.- Lead, mentor, and manage the collections team to achieve targets and maintain high levels of productivity and morale.- Develop and maintain collector incentive programs- Collaborate with other departments, including credit, customer success and finance, to resolve outstanding issues and improve overall collections processes.- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies related to debt collection.- Handle escalated collection cases, negotiating payment plans and settlements as needed.- Coordinate with the legal department in collections cases requiring litigation- Utilize data and analytics to drive decision-making and optimize collections strategies.- Prepare regular reports on collections performance for senior management.**Qualifications**:- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.- Minimum of 5 years of experience in collections, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.- Strong understanding of collections processes, strategies, and regulations.- Excellent leadership and team management skills.- Proficient in using collections software, CRM systems and complex spreadsheets.- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.- Fluency in Spanish and English.
