**LOCATION**:Acuna / Coahuila (MX-COA), Mexico |**BRAND**: Bendix |**REQUISITION ID**:3113 |** JOB GRADE***:13**JOB DESCRIPTION**:**Position Summary**:This position is responsible of supporting projects and daily activities on a manufacturing power base(s).**Essential Functions**:- Supports Manufacturing Engineer(s) with studies or activities to keep assembly lines balanced or producing according to standards.- Supports Manufacturing Engineers or Leaders to execute studies or activities related to Safety, Ergonomic and Environmental issues.- Supports the Manufacturing area with projects or activities to improve manufacturing processes and/or to launch new assembly lines or products.- Updates manufacturing documents under the Manufacturing Leader or Engineer guidance.- Supports continuous improvement and KPS activities.- Supports WCM Pillar Activities.- Proposes and/or executes engineering changes on assembly lines under the Manufacturing Engineer or Leader guidance/coaching.- Supports Activities related to Product Safety and VDA Audits under the Manufacturing Engineer or Leader guidance/coaching.- Supports the Manufacturing Area to introduce new fixtures or tools.- With the Area leader supports Manufacturing to maintains SAP routings by executing time studies and/or documents updates.- Support PSA Activities and procedures with team members- Perform all those activities that by the nature of the position are required.**Management & Supervisory Responsibilities**:- Typically reports to the plant engineering Manager.- Job is NOT directly responsible for managing other employees.- This position can only represent manufacturing in a power base(s) if the Engineer or leader is absent (Vacations, special assignments, projects, customer issues, etc.)**Knowledge**:- CAD software usage.- Basic Lean Manufacturing principles.- Time and motion study.- Basic knowledge about manufacturing documents( PFMEA, Process Flow, Work Instructions)- Manufacturing processes (crimping, PCB flashing, Automatic Testing, welding, force & distance insertions, Automatic Torqueing )- Data Analysis and Problem solving.- Mistake proofing devices.- Basic Excel and Power Point.**Experience**:- Basic Tooling and fixturing design experience required- Basic experience on manufacturing enviroments.- Demonstrated lean manufacturing implementation a plus- Quality background a plus- Skilled in Microsoft Office and CAD software.**Skills**:- Hands on.- Coachable and open to learn.- Good problem solving skills.- Time management.- Organized.- Able to analyse basic data and create presentations to communicate issues or solutions.**Education/Certifications**:- BS degree in Engineering (ME, MET, EE, EET) preferred.- Preferent Bilingual; English and Spanish**What does Bendix have to offer you?**- Work-life balance that includes Paid Vacation & Holiday Paid Time Off- Vacation Premium- Life insurance- Christmas Bonus- Educational assistance program- Wellness program- Saving Fund- Pantry Vouchers- Permits paid for: Marriage or Death of a direct relative- Attendance Bonuses- Cafeteria Subsidy- Subsidy for prescription glasses- Medical service in plant- Recognition programs- Gym
