When you add that to the challenges we take on and solve together, you’ll discover that at HARMAN you can grow, make a difference and be proud of the work you do every day.What You Will Do- Monitors that the suppliers and raw material are within the parameters and specifications that Harman requires.- Interpret and follow the guidelines of incoming procedures.- Ensure the quality of the raw material, according to the SAP system and specific requirements of the Harman and Customers.- Support to production lines ensuring quality standards.- Feedback of problems (Defects) occurred during the Incoming Inspection process.- Audit of each part number before to storage the material in Harman WH.- Create and modify the Control plan in our SAP System- Dimensional Reports- Participate and give support in meetings to quality suppliers.- Participates and provides support related with quality and EHSS systems management, objectives, targets and programs.What You Need- 5’s- Capture of defects- Interpretation of specs/drawings- AQL C=0- Failure analysis- Interpretation of PPAPs ( Production Part Approval Process)- Audit of visual standards (VJI, Visual aids, Quality criteria)- Oda Management (MTS, TDN)- Basic management of Microsoft Office- Basic knowledge of SAP system- Basic management of CMM machines- Basic management of Vision System.- Use of measuring tools (Optical Comparators, thermometers, Vernier Weighing machine, scala)- Action plan - Escalation Process- Knowledge of non-conforming material- Knowledge Customer complaints and supplier complaints- Knowledge work with third parties- Knowledge of 8Ds by suppliers- High School or Technical degree.- Customer specific requirements (applicable)What is Nice to Have- Leadership- Orientation to change- Collaboration- Decision making- Skill in organization and planning.- Teamwork- Communication skills (oral and written)- Effective supervision (in case of third party companies)- Initiative- Ability to solve problems (8D's, A3, 5/3/2 panel).- Analytical, critical thinking.What Makes You EligibleKnowledge, presentation and skillsAuthority:Can reject raw material to avoid, release material to our Warehouses, avoid stop lines in case of material nonconformance and send to quarantine area.HARMAN is an Equal Opportunity /Affirmative Action employer.
