Jr. FinOps Engineer We are seeking an enthusiastic FinOps Engineer to join our Cloud Technology team, focusing on Service Optimization and Software Asset Management Compliance. This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity to gain expertise in public cloud technologies while working with a motivated team guiding Thomson Reuters' cloud hosting and third‑party monitoring services. About the role: Cloud Cost Management: Assist in analyzing the cost implications of cloud technology choices for new and existing projects. Help identify underutilized resources and support cost optimization efforts. Learn to create and maintain cost‑related reports and dashboards. Team Collaboration: Work with product development teams to understand their cloud usage and cost drivers. Support the design and implementation of cloud cost visualization tools. Participate in discussions with peers, architects, and managers to understand cloud strategies. Financial Planning: Assist in budget planning and forecasting activities related to cloud costs. Help prepare monthly reviews of current spend vs. budget. Learn to analyze data and identify cost trends. About You: Bachelor's degree in finance, data analytics, technology, or related field 0‑2 years of experience in a business or technical role Basic understanding of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) Proficiency in Excel and data analysis Strong interest in technology and willingness to learn Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a globally distributed team.
