Your tasks Job objective Responsible for Environment, Health and Safety regulations and design, plan, implement, and evaluate safety training programs, policies, and procedures. Legally compliant looking‑after and advising the relevant plants in accordance with the environmental regulations as well as the industrial safety law considering state and employer's liability insurance association related legal requirements as well as the stipulated operating times and areas of responsibility in all questions of industrial protection and health and safety protection, of accident prevention and of designing work in a manner suitable for human beings. Duties and responsibilities (A Tasks) Drawing up training documents, as well as supporting the superiors in the instruction of the employees about accident and health risks, as well as about facilities and measures to avert these risks. Formulates general safety policies and procedures to be followed by company or plant personnel in compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations and corporate standards. Preparing environment, health and safety solutions for planning, execution, maintenance and modifications to site equipment, social and sanitary installations and the introduction of working methods and materials. Organizing and arranging the appointment of safety representatives. Looking after and informing the safety representatives in all questions of industrial protection and health protection. Monitoring the observance of rules and laws with regard to accident prevention, environmental protection as well as, if necessary, involvement in the further development and application of new technologies with regard to environment‑protection aspects. Preparing and coordinating upcoming environmental, health and safety audits, and implementing the EC Environmental Audit Regulation in accordance with internal and external guidelines. Creating, updating and archiving extensive process and system documentation, taking into account internal and external guidelines, rules and regulations, in cooperation with the offices involved. Carrying out safety‑related monitoring and acceptance of operational processes, lines, equipment, technical equipment, working methods, materials and workstations, particularly before they are introduced and/or put into operation and after major changes. Organizing, carrying out and documenting as well as hosting health and safety committee meetings at the respective locations, and communicating the results accordingly at all levels. Organizing, carrying out and documenting factory inspection tours to evaluate environmental, health and safety protection and working safety, specifying and communicating the remedial measures necessary as well as checking and following up their scheduled processing. Fulfillment of and involvement in demands related to health and safety as well as environmental management systems. Participates in the investigation of accidents and injuries and provide detailed investigation data for improvements in work processes, equipment, supplies and proper employee training to do the job as well as developing teams and serve as chairman, to study safety and ergonomics in the plant. Informing all the employees involved in health & safety and environmental protection within the company about news from these areas. Leadership (B) Deploying employees corresponding to their qualifications within the relevant structure. Instructing and supporting employees in a target‑oriented and motivating manner to fulfill the tasks. Guiding, instructing and supporting employees in function‑related tasks. Participating in hiring process and responsible to sustain the team performance and evaluation as well as qualification demands. Your qualifications People management experience. Certification knowledge and experience (ISO 14001, 5001 Fire Protection and others). English language advanced.
