We hope you will consider joining our team.- **The**_ _**Role**_Woodtech is looking for a Procurement Specialist who is analytical, driven, strategic, and creative. A procurement leader that will drive important procurement activities including identification and validation of suppliers and direct procurement operation responsibilities, including forecasting, inventory management, purchase order and vendor management. This role will have exposure across all phases of the product creation cycle including researching customer needs, supplier development, and negotiations. Throughout this process you will engage with engineers and project managers that will help you procure all the necessary materials and details that our products require.In this role you will:- Quote and source specialty and stock products and materials- Research sourcing alternatives that are cost neutral, or favorable- Manage schedules, deliveries and ensure timely fulfillment of orders- Lead warehouse personnel to ensure the factory has adequate resources and is set up for success- Create and review purchase orders- Analyze requirements and create forecasting tools to improve management- Travel to our facility in Oakland for support and training if needed- **Basic Qualifications**_- Advanced English- Excellent proficiency with MS Excel- Bachelor's degree or currently enrolled in business management, logistics or supply chain management- Market research and analysis techniques- Accurate planning, prioritization and documentation abilities- Conflict resolution skills- Excellent interpersonal communication skills- Experience in evaluating vendors and negotiation techniques- Desire and energy to work in a fast-paced agile environment- **Preferred Qualifications**_- Experience working in purchasing or related procedures- Experience developing risk management procedures to mitigate product shortages- Experience monitoring pricing fluctuations- Experience with data analysis tools and programming macros- Experience with MRP systems- Possession of a valid U.S. visa**How to Apply**Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completo, Medio tiempoSueldo: $18,000.00 - $28,000.00 al mesTipo de jornada:- Turno de 8 horasLugar de trabajo: remoto híbrido en 45116, Puerta Aqua, Jal.Fecha límite para postularse: 17/02/2023
