Assistance Finance Senior Mexico City, Mexico Finance Responsibilities and Impact Ensure the compliance and integrity of accounting information regarding revenue, deferred revenue, and accounts receivable, maintaining accurate financial records and reporting. Prepare, review, and ensure compliance of invoices and their complements according to Mexican Tax Laws, ensuring accuracy and timely submission. Serve as a primary point of contact for both customer and internal inquiries, providing expert guidance on accounting matters. Deliver exceptional customer service regarding customer refunds, payment forms, discrepancies, tax forms / procedures, payment histories, and statements of account. Prepare and record journal entries in accordance with Mexican accounting standards (NIF) and US GAAP, ensuring adherence to best practices. Take ownership of month‑end processes, including preparation and posting of journals, and thorough preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations related to income and accounts receivable. Liaise with external auditors to facilitate timely completion of statutory audits, ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared and available. Oversee travel expense controls in compliance with Mexican tax laws, ensuring accuracy and adherence to tax regulations and company policies. Integrate and continuously improve accounting and close processes, leveraging technology and best practices. Prepare meaningful accounting reports that provide insights into financial performance and assist in the decision‑making process. Utilize advanced Excel tools, including macros, to streamline processes and improve data analysis capabilities. Maintain and enhance knowledge of Oracle Financials and other relevant accounting systems, ensuring effective utilization in daily operations. Perform other related tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to team objectives. Basic Required Qualifications Strong proficiency in US GAAP and NIF. Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in Financial Accounting with a focus on general accounting and tax matters. Advanced accounting skills and in-depth knowledge of financial reporting. Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Spanish. Proven investigative research and analytical capabilities, with a strong attention to detail. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, particularly Excel (including macros). Proactive approach to problem‑solving, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills with a customer‑centric approach. Additional Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proficiency with Oracle Financials or similar financial systems; experience with Salesforce in an Accounts Receivable environment is a plus.
