You will have the opportunity to be the customer interface of an exciting new technology. The Adoption Engineer is a member of the ThousandEyes Systems Engineering team tasked with optimizing adoption and utilization through best practice recommendations. The Adoption Engineer, working in tandem with the Customer Success Specialist, will serve as a post sale technical consultant throughout the customer lifecycle. This role is accountable for ensuring the success of ThousandEyes customers, the execution of adoption-driven playbooks, product trainings, and customer roadmaps.**:** What You’ll Do**- Proactively reach out to customers to build and maintain a trusted advisor relationship and create technical champions- Collaborate with the Customer Success Specialist and Sales team on account strategy- Identify customer strategic initiatives and potential use cases- Engage with customers to drive adoption through best practice recommendations and increase the value ThousandEyes delivers to their business- Actively identify new and expansion opportunities- Share customer feedback and enhancement requests with the Product team- Deliver product updates sessions highlighting new capabilities that have been released**Qualifications**- 3+ years of Technical Support, Solutions Engineering, Professional Services or similar technical customer facing roles- Strong desire to learn and ability to work independently in a fast paced environment- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, JavaScript)- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills- English and one of the Iberian languages (Portuguese or Spanish) are required- Additional European languages are highly desirable- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related fieldCisco is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, genetic information, age, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected basis. For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target.
