Lead Data Engineer

We seek a Data Engineer with Azure who shares our passion for innovation and change. This role is critical to helping our business partners evolve and adapt to consumers' personalized expectations in this new technological era. What will help you succeed: Fluent English (B2 - Upper Intermediate) 7+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of data modeling techniques (star schema, snowflake, normalized models). Hands‑on experience with Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, and Python. Familiarity with cloud‑based storage and compute (Azure SQL, ADLS Gen2, Databricks). Strong problem‑solving abilities and a collaborative mindset. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP is a plus Experience with dashboarding tools (Power BI, Tableau). Knowledge of data governance frameworks and security best practices. Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert. (Nice to have) Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or ARM templates for data environments. Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines for data solutions (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions). Proficiency in Databricks and Spark for big data processing and advanced analytics. Knowledge of streaming data platforms (e.g., Azure Event Hub, Kafka) for real‑time data ingestion. Expertise in API‑driven data integration and microservices architecture. This job can only be filled in MTY #LI-Hybrid. Globant will cover relocation expenses to Monterrey for candidates hired for this position.
