We are working together to make businesses safer, more sustainable and more productive.**Role Overview**:The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain processes for our manufacturing plant in Queretaro. This role focuses on ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of raw materials and finished products, maintaining inventory levels, and improving overall supply chain efficiency.**Work Environment**: On-site**Key Responsibilities**:- Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with the company’s goals.- Analyze and optimize the supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.- Oversee inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of raw materials and finished goods.- Implement inventory control systems to minimize excess and obsolete inventory.- Manage the procurement process, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management.- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.- Optimize transportation routes and methods to reduce costs and improve delivery times.- Collaborate with sales and production teams to develop accurate demand forecasts.- Use forecasting tools and techniques to predict future demand and adjust supply chain activities accordingly.- Monitor supply chain expenses and develop strategies to reduce costs without compromising quality.- Ensure contingency plans are in place to address supply chain disruptions.- Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team to achieve departmental goals.- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.**Critical Competencies for Success**- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.- Proficiency in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.- Ability to make decisions under pressure and solve complex problems.- Financial acumen and experience with budgeting and cost control.- Proficiency with ERP systems and manufacturing software.- Proficiency in speaking and writing in English is required.**Health & Safety**The physical demands described within the Key Duties & Responsibilities section of this job description are required to perform the essential functions of this position.
