Important IT company At the Latin American level, growth requires:**Infra Architect****Job description**:- **_ Roles & Responsibilities_**- Design scalable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure solutions.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define infrastructure requirements and objectives.- Ensure the infrastructure aligns with organizational goals and industry standards.- Provide technical leadership for infrastructure-related projects and initiatives.- Document infrastructure designs, workflows, and best practices.- Evaluate and recommend tools, platforms, and frameworks for infrastructure optimization.- Support the deployment and maintenance of hybrid and multi-cloud environments.- Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance and address issues proactively.- Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and operational standards.- Mentor junior team members on infrastructure design and technologies.**_ Assessment Phase Responsibilities_**- Evaluate the current infrastructure to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and risks.- Conduct capacity planning to assess scalability and future needs.- Perform feasibility studies for new technologies and solutions.- Assess compliance with security and industry standards.- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather infrastructure requirements and expectations.- Develop a high-level roadmap for infrastructure modernization and transformation.- Identify dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies related to infrastructure projects.- Document findings and propose solutions to improve infrastructure performance.- Conduct cost-benefit analysis for infrastructure upgrades or migrations.- Align infrastructure goals with business and organizational strategies.**_ Implementation Phase Responsibilities_**- Design detailed infrastructure blueprints and implementation plans.- Deploy infrastructure solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.- Collaborate with teams to integrate new infrastructure with existing systems.- Implement automation for infrastructure provisioning and management.- Monitor infrastructure performance during and after deployment to ensure stability.- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during implementation to minimize downtime.- Conduct testing and validation of deployed infrastructure solutions.- Document the deployment process and operational procedures for future reference.- Train operational teams on managing and maintaining the new infrastructure.- Optimize infrastructure configurations to achieve cost efficiency and performance.**_ Required Skills and Qualifications_**- Proven experience as an Infrastructure Architect or similar role.- Expertise in designing and managing on-premises and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).- Strong knowledge of networking, virtualization, and storage solutions.- Experience in implementing security measures for infrastructure.- Familiarity with monitoring tools and performance optimization techniques.- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.- Ability to document technical designs and operational processes effectively.- A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
