Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.**Job Summary**:As the Engineering Project Team Leader for RI Hydraulic Reservoirs, you are a design owner within the Hydraulic Pumps & Motors, Accumulators, and Reservoirs Team. The team has global reach interacting with a global supply network and global machine facilities. We work closely with other Caterpillar engineering departments to deliver quality product that meet our machine teams' requirements.**What will you do**:- Accountable for the hydraulic reservoir design from initial concept through product support.- Lead one other reservoir design engineer and support all RI products.- Interact with suppliers, both internal and external, to deliver quality product on time.- Champion the design and development process reducing risk in the design and the manufacturing, assembly, and serviceability of the design.**Education Requirement**:- Mechanical Engineering degree or any related field- Fluent English**Skill Descriptors**:**Team Management**- Leading others to complete a complex program- Resolving conflict- Effective communication to team and stakeholders**Project Management**- Manage detailed tasks- Proactively identifying concerns and resolving them**Product Design and Development**- Concepting design options- Developing designs to meet customer requirements**Technical Excellence**- Knowledge of hydraulic systems, components, and interaction with the reservoir- Manufacturing knowledge**Troubleshooting Technical Problems**- Ability to solve problems effectively- 6 Sigma experience**Additional Information**:- Location: Santa Catarina- Domestic Relocation assistance is available for this position.- Don’t forget to include a resumé in English in your profile in Workday**Final details****The Caterpillar Code of Conduct states that we will select, and place employees based on their qualifications for the job to be performed, without regard to race, religion, national origin, color, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age or disability.
