Olx Autos Senior Product Manager

**The role**:**OLX is looking for a customer-obsessed & entrepreneurial product manager to join the Consumer Finance group in the OLX Autos business unit.**The Consumer Finance group plays a very critical role in the success of buyers in achieving their primary goal of buying the car that best meets their needs. Making finance available for a broader customer base can serve a 2-fold purpose: closing more car transactions and closing them quicker. In this role you will get to help millions of used car buyers, across emerging global markets on the OLX platform, in- Buying the car by- Providing easy access to pre-approved loan- Competitive EMI options to cater to budget needs- Having flexible tenor options- Hassle free documentation- Immediate gratification by approving customer-tailored finance solutions- Improving access to finance for economic-, age- and other groups who would not be able to access used car financing otherwise.While providing a highly localized experience across all OLX Autos' markets. Crucial for acquiring the consumer finance group's goals will be working closely with the data sciences team to build risk models for reducing the cost of loan for customers, improving the loan management efficiency from business perspective and broadening the cohorts catered by risk models to make it a profitable business.**What will you do?**:**As a product manager for Loan Origination system** in the Consumer Finance group of OLX Autos, you will be working on core stages: Customer acquisition (borrower details and relevant documents to auto generate financial projection, loan proposal), Credit scoring, Approval processing and Contract generation.A product management role in OLX Autos is a challenging and enticing assignment where, as part of a global product organization catering to needs of car buyers and sellers, you get to shape and build an immersive, multilingual, multi geography and omnichannel experience across multiple emerging markets. You will be responsible for shaping and crafting an actionable product strategy to identify, prioritize and solve key problems that the buyers face while making a financial decision for a car they want to buy after browsing through thousands of used cars and comparing multiple options through various platforms.On a day to day basis, you will be expected to:- Actively listen and connect with customers (current and potential) and their needs- Pull and analyze data from different self serve internal sources, key industry benchmarks, and emerging trends to deliver high quality and actionable customer centric product / feature proposals and user stories- Develop detailed product specifications in collaboration with business, design, and development teams- Own and drive well prioritized product and feature roadmap that balances metric movers, customer delights and customer asks- Drive delivery and discovery efforts with an urge to learn fast and create real impact- Define and own success metrics to improve efficiency and effectiveness of operations and sales teams- Building products with Platform as a service approach to enable integration with OLX group companies- Obsess over problem solving, UX details and user centric design (mental models, storyboards, personas, contextual research, prototyping)- Discover new ways to tackle old problems in a very fintech-type way of thinking.**Who we're looking for**:- Education: Bachelor's degree from tier 1 institution. Preferred MBA from tier 1 institution - not mandatory- Work experience: Minimum 5 years of Product Management experience in a consumer Internet or e-commerce company. Experience in consumer financing is preferred- You are obsessed about users - you place yourself in the position of your users to make something amazing for them.
