Client: Our client is a leading organization in the financial services sector.Position overview: Spearhead the technical design and execution of enhancements and transformations. Possess extensive expertise in modernizing legacy systems, implementing enterprise data governance, and managing organizational change. Skillfully balance short-term operational stability with a forward-looking strategic vision.- Responsibilities: Drive direct communications with business stakeholders- Elaborate on all technical aspects for the development team, justify any architectural decision- Lead implementation of the solutions from establishing project requirements and goals to solution "go-live"- Guide clients through complex data transformation initiatives and ensure successful outcomes- Participate in the entire cycle of sales\pre-sales activities- Lead solution architecture evaluation and assessment activities- 5+ years of work experience in a data architect/engineering role or 5-10 completed projects- Data Governance, Data Management background- Experience working with Clouds (Azure, AWS, GCP)- DWH/Data Platforms experience (Snowflake, Databricks)- Knowledge of SQL and comfortable designing, writing and maintaining complex SQL queries- Experience building data pipelines; ETL design, implementation, and maintenance- Knowledge of data management fundamentals (data modelling, data quality, metadata management, data warehouse/lakes patterns, distributed systems)- Excellent communication skills- Nice to have: Background in a consultant’s role- Acquaintance with the Insurance/ Financial industry- Sales/pre-sales experience- Knowledge of WhereScape RED/3D- Experience with Qlik Replicate- Understanding of Azure Data Factory
