LocationSantiago de Querétaro, Querétaro, MexicoCost Accounting SpecialistPPG IndustriesQuerétaroID: JR As a **cost accounting specialist**, you will manage costs related to production and marketing, you will ensure the correct accounting allocation, and provide accurate financial information that supports decision-making and budget control.You will work #LI-Hybrid _in our site located in Querétaro. R_eporting to a LATAM cost supervisor.**Key Responsibilities**- You will manage direct and indirect costs.- You will participate in updating the standard cost of products.- You will ensure compliance with applicable accounting and tax policies related to cost recording.- You will support internal and external cost audits, and help with the physical inventory counting process.- You will build cost reports and cost statements, and participate in and help prepare important monthly indicators and reports.- You will collaborate with internal areas to obtain accurate information.**Qualifications**- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, or related fields.- At least 2 years proven or equivalent experience in similar positions.- Knowledge of accounting and tax regulations applicable to the industry.- Knowledge in excel: Intermediate (pivot tables, information analysis, basic formulas, graphs, filters, search, average, and concatenate) and experience with ERP software (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)- Fluent English, capable to participate in business conversationsYou will have benefits: Health Insurance, Life Insurance.**About us**:**PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD****The PPG Way**Every single day at PPG:**We partner with customers to create mutual value.****We are "One PPG" to the world.****We trust our people every day, in every way.****We make it happen.****We run it like we own it.****We do better today than yesterday - everyday.**Benefits will be discussed with you by your recruiter during the hiring process.This is a hybrid remote/in-office role.PPG pay ranges and benefits can vary by location which allows us to compensate employees competitively in different geographic markets.
