Overview:Under the supervision of the Safety and Environment Engineer, performs activities in support of compliance with the legal requirements of the EHS department.**Responsibilities**:- Control of hazardous and non-hazardous waste logs- Printing of safety labels for plant chemicals- Digitization of EHS System documents- Support with updating the safety board- Participation in updating calendars regarding studies required by STPS- Documenting safety risks, photos, videos- Control of safety sheets for plant chemicals- Basic knowledge of identifying environmental aspects and impacts- Participation in improvement projects- Support for training operational staff- Support in implementing NOM-018 STPS- Other duties asignedQualifications:- Last semesters or recent graduate of Industrial Engineering, Administration, Environmental Engineer or a related field.- No prior experience required.- Basic proficiency in English (40%), with the ability to read documents.- Basic knowledge of the identification of risks, hazards, as well as NOM's.- Basic knowledge of the identification of environmental aspects and impacts, as well as identifying applicable standards.- Basic concepts of ergonomics.- Excellent Interpersonal Skills.- Strong service-oriented attitude.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Effective Communication skills.- Ability to work towards and achieve set objectives.**WHO WE ARE**Shure’s mission is to be the most trusted audio brand worldwide - and for nearly a century, our Core Values have aligned us to be just that.
