In this role a typical day will include : Support month-end close activities including accruals prepaids and legal matter reporting with no major accounting issues and adherence to month end close timelines. Partner with Legal & Compliance and HR / Comms leaders and PMOs to support legal matter tracking PO and IO spend monitoring and advise business on finance processes and accounting guidelines to ensure correct reporting. Support the different planning cycles (Target QBR forecast and Strategic Plan) through data analysis slide development and reports to drive business and financial decisions. Drive continuous process improvement and automation to ensure team efficiency develop or improve financial reports and process into the area. Support the Director BPA Corporate Functions in deliverables including template design ad-hoc analysis etc. WHAT YOULL BRING TO ALCON : Bachelors degree in finance accounting or related analytical discipline. At least 3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) roles. Exceptional numerical and analytical abilities capable of using data tools to drive decision-making and managing large pools of data in Excel. Proactive enthusiastic and curious with a solid ability to think creatively and develop new solutions. Ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and work in high pressure situations. Knowledge of SAP BI Power Point tools. Ability to adapt to new systems and applications quickly. Proactive communication style with the ability to build / foster relationships with business partners.
