This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, highly driven person with a well-rounded skill set to join the cyber security team.**_To be considered for this position, please submit your resume in English._**The Cyber Security Specialist will lead the efforts in securing Acquisitions during the integration process. This role will be responsible to ensure that cyber risks identified with any new acquisition are handled appropriately. In many cases, the Sr. Cyber Security Specialist will plan and take remedial action directly in a hands-on capacity.The Sr. Cyber Security Acquisitions Specialist will report directly to the CISO and partner with the virtual Acquisitions Integration team to identify, detect, prioritize, and remediate cyber risks as necessary.**Responsibilities**:- Drive cyber risk to acceptable levels for Acquisitions.- Own the relationship with Third Party Cyber Risk Assessment partner for new Acquisitions.- Ensure timely completion of initial assessment from Third Party.- Based on risk levels, drive timely remediation of identified vulnerabilities, configuration issues, and other cyber security gaps either directly or with stakeholders.- Directly monitor for new risks across IT Assets and drive remediation as necessary.- Maintain up-to-date tracker of all issues requiring remediation.- Proactively communicating with stakeholders to understand requirements, timelines, etc.- Flexibility to work varying hours in case of an incident or other business requirements.- Continuously work to improve the Acquisition Cyber Risk Program.**Attributes & Background**:- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar- 10+ years of hands-on experience in Cyber/Information Security required- Certifications (at least one required) CSX-P, CISSP or CASP+- Full English Fluency at a professional level.- Proven experience using Risk-based analysis to prioritize.- Demonstrated ability to pay close attention to technical details.- Demonstrated experience in analyzing vulnerability reports and data for deep understanding.- Deep experience with cloud-based security and systems management tools.- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.- Capability to work on multiple tasks with shifting and sometimes conflicting priorities.- Able to work collaboratively with other teams and departments.- Experience collaborating with remote colleagues.- Experience working with vendors and managing vendor relationships.- Experience collaborating with Application, Infrastructure, Network, HelpDesk, and Security teams.- Ability to deal with ambiguity and flexibility to work collaboratively with others in a dynamic environment.- Ability to communicate and articulate technical and non-technical information in a clear and understandable manner.**Work Location & Type**- Colombia or Mexico Remote- Travel: Limited to none- Must have high speed internet connection at home if remote- If working remotely, a quiet work environment is requiredJ.S.
