As SAP FICO Senior Functional Consultant, will be responsible for providing functional leadership on SAP finance processes, designing and reviewing solutions and proposing improvements.- Responsible for finishing the tasks assigned by team lead and project manager.- Responsible to solve complex SAP issues reported by the business users (Incident Management) and acting as a mentor for junior team members.- Responsible for proactively working with business users for identifying and resolving recurring issues.- Owner of certain specialized processes within broader domain area eg. Interfacing to 3rd party systems, etc.- Ability to drive conversations with business users to understand requirements, prepare high level solutions and estimations.- Ability to speak Fluent English**Essential Requirements**:- At least 10 years of demonstrable experience as functional consultant in respective work stream and experienced knowledge in configuration and maintenance of SAP systems on Financial modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Asset Accounting, Treasury, Cost Center Accounting, Product Costing and Special Ledger)- Bachelor’s degree from college/university required.- Ability to understand business requirements from business users and prepare and review functional specifications and high level design documents.- Very good understanding of integration between other modules (SD, MM, PP)- Ability to work in large and diverse teams.- Should be aware of release governance processes and have experience in working on any incident management tool.- Experience of various Estimation Techniques needed- Superb communication and interpersonal skills.- Well versed in English and Spanish. Excellent spoken and written skills.- Willingness to work in shifts- Proactive approach to problem solving.- Experience working in a globally distributed team- Good understanding of business processes in the life sciences / pharmaceutical domain.- Ability drive conversations with business users to understand requirements, prepare high level solutions and estimations.- Exposure is essential to highly customized SAP environments and working on collaborate with Non SAP systems.- Very good understanding of integration of SAP modules in End to end business processes- Understanding of ITIL processes and Application life cycle management.- Ability to work in large and complementary teams.- Exposure to Run SAP (Solution Manager) methodologies.- Exposure to Run SAP (Solution Manager) methodologies.- Exposure is essential to highly customized SAP environments and working on interfaces with Non SAP systems.- Understanding of ITIL processes and Application life cycle management.- Good understanding of GXP and SOX requirements. Should have working experience in a validated environment.- Experience implementing / supporting FI & CO-PA (Profitability Segment) module in SAP.- Experience supporting FI localizations (Mexico, Brazil, etc)- Good understanding of GXP and SOX requirements. Should have working experience in a validated environment.- Should be able to guide and mentor junior members of the team.- Should be aware of release governance processes and have experience in working on any incident management tool.- Experience of various Estimation Techniques needed- Good communication and social skills.- Well versed in English and Spanish.
