And providing the best possible workplace for our employees gives us a competitive advantage-helping us attract and retain top talent and drive better business results.**Responsibilities****A Typical Day Might Include**:**DESIGN LEADERSHIP**- Delivering quality design packages on schedule and within budget.- Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety codes, and environmental regulations.- Work closely with structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers.- Drafting and revising furnace system layouts.- Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and materials science.- Creating and refining unique design solutions to engineering problems.**COORDINATION & COLLABORATION**- Work with the project leads to understand the project scope of work and assist in breaking it down into smaller, manageable tasks and along with establishing milestones that are delegated to team members who are empowered to execute.- Regularly present progress to the internal project lead and/or client to ensure satisfaction throughout the life of the project.- Work with project team to drive the design to completion while adhering to client standards and project required level of design.**Qualifications****What You Will Bring**:- Bachelor Degree in Architecture or Engineering field.- Six (6) years or more related designer experience required.- **_ Prior experience in Machine Design is relevant in lieu of experience in Furnace Design_**- Proficiency in Auto CAD 2D platform.- ** Advanced English** level.- Good communication skills**Desirable Skills**:- Inventor experience in glass design projects a plus.- Experience in the design and detailing of piping systems and sheet metal ductwork systems is a plus.- Experience in the design and detailing of furnace refractory and binding steel is a plus.- We are committed to finding the best fit for the position even if you don’t meet every single requirement.
