Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer

We ensure that users and devices are connected, and stay connected wherever they go : Cross country, carrier, or cellular technology. We help them pay less for mobile data. This technology is provided through our Carrier-as-a-Service platform : BrandVNO, a fully customizable telecom service. In addition, we enable clients of our service to extract the value from telecom data - enriching their customer experience, business intelligence, and product understanding in the many markets in which we operate. We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer who will thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly scaling network environment. This individual will be responsible from everything from working with the infrastructure team for network architecture to integrations, maintenance windows, configuration automation and optimization, and more. The role will act as interface between transit and transport providers, partner and peered networks, datacenter providers, internal stakeholders (Telecom Team, Product Team, SRE, etc), as well as core engineering in order to align business strategy and objectives with infrastructure execution. Experience Experience level : minimum 5 years experience working in an enterprise level environment supporting network data center infrastructure in a hybrid environment Hands‑on installation, operations, maintenance and trouble‑shooting of the Network infrastructure for data‑center locations to ensure 24x7 network operations. Ability to resolve operational issues in a multi‑protocol routing and switched infrastructure and drive solutions under high pressure Solid understanding of BGP and OSPF routing, L2 switching technologies, and ACL management Knowledge of configuration management and automation technologies such as Ansible, Salt, Chef, etc Recent, hands‑on experience with Arista and Juniper network equipment Ability to create and maintain advanced technical drawings and documentation Ability to drive large scale network project deliverables with tight timelines Remote This role is perfect for growth in that you will be exposed to many facets of not just traditional, carrier‑level networking, but also how an internal mobile network works, how our telecom‑as‑a‑service API's are exposed to customers, and many more exciting aspects of OXIO's unique network and product.
