Description :

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Transformation Consulting team at Mercer. This role will be based in Mexico City (Torre Mayor).

This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to :

  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, focusing on their needs and challenges.
  • Provide guidance and peer reviews for work by consultants.
  • Understand how the financials of a consulting business work.
  • Manage projects 70% of the time and address commercial issues for prospecting new sales the rest of the time.
  • Support transformation of companies and organizational redesigns, ensuring analyst employees do their tasks correctly.
  • Work with the Transformation Leader.

Sales :

  • Create and manage mid-scope (standard) proposals with limited supervision and contribute to large scope proposals.
  • Develop own network/client relationships.
  • Know about products and services for the Career business.

Development :

  • Proactively contribute to business/intellectual capital development to innovate and improve, as well as marketing activities (POVS, events, etc.).
  • Moderate/present topics during Jour Fixes and Team Calls.
  • Take onboarding responsibilities for new colleagues and provide guidance and coaching of consultants.
  • Proactively seek feedback to develop in own role as Senior Consultant.

Triggers for advancement :

  • Consistently meet or exceed delivery & utilization targets for the role.
  • Take on project management responsibilities for medium-large sized workstreams.
  • Demonstrate ability to independently manage standard sales opportunities.
  • Engage in proactive knowledge sharing with clients and internal team members.
  • Display Mercer commitments on a regular basis.

What you need to have :

  • Bachelor's degree in Organizational design, Organizational management, or Project management.
  • 6 to 8 years of experience as a Transformation Consultant in a Big 4 or in Industry.
  • Advanced English and Intermediate/Advanced Excel (Macros desirable); Portuguese highly desirable.
