Role Overview Do you want to be part of building out next generation SaaS products that power the automotive industry? JATO is currently looking to hire a Software Engineer (.NET) to join our agile teams. As a Software Engineer, you will work in a product delivery team using your C# .NET skills to deliver platform increments, contributing to our value stream. This is a hybrid role based in our Mexico City office. Please note that fluency in English is required for this position. Key responsibilities Contribute toward the development of our next generation, cloud-based SaaS platforms Work closely with colleagues in Operations, Architecture, Delivery, Product and Support to collaboratively release platform increments Ensure a good understanding of the needs of your software users be they JATO staff, external customers, or fellow developers Contribute toward solution level architecture and design Own your release from development to production Continuously enhance your knowledge base and skillset Key skills Minimum 3+ years’ experience as a Software Engineer programming in C#/.NET Minimum 3+ years’ experience developing VBA macros Firm understanding of coding design patterns and SOLID principals LINQ Agile methodology Relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, etc.) and writing queries Experience developing and consuming API’sKnowledge of microservices architecture Solid understanding of DevOps and CI/CD Git flow Strong communication skills in English Strong problem-solving skills Passionate about software engineering, quality, and constant learning Desire to help others improve through mentoring A good grounding in technical theory and practice Experience in creating detailed support and technical material Attention to detail Respond to tight deadlines Being a team player Desirable skills Experience developing cloud native solutions in Azure or AWS Knowledge of React and Typescript Experience developing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps) Experience working with non-relational databases (Cassandra, MongoDB, etc.) Knowledge of Test Driven Development (TDD) or Domain Driven Development (DDD) Experience working in the Atlassian stack (Confluence, JIRA, BitBucket) JATO Dynamics is a global business and our success is attributed to the diversity, skills and experiences of our colleagues across the world.
