Helps ensure all projects are completed on-time, within scope and budget.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Implement the Project (45%)- Monitors the progress of the project using the appropriate tools and project management techniques and make changes as necessary.- Establishes a communication schedule to update stakeholders and management in the organization on the progress of the project.- Reviews the quality of work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure it meets the project standards.- Ensures that all project information is appropriately documented and secured and available for review.Plan the Project (20%)- Helps define the scope and objective of the project using direction provided by stakeholders.- Confirms the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion.- Creates a project plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the projectControl the Project (15%)- Reports on the project and project expense for management and finance.- Monitors and may approve budgeted project expenditures.- Ensures financial records for project are maintained.Staff the Project (10%)- Reports on the project and project expense for management and finance.- Monitors and may approve budgeted project expenditures.- Ensures financial records for project are maintained.Evaluate the Project (10%)- Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality- Evaluates the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase.- Performs risk management to minimize project risks and escalates to management as needed.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:- Required Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business,- or Project Management or related field- Years of Experience: 2-4 yearsCERTIFICATIONS AND/OR LICENSES:- Preferred Certifications and/or Licenses: Project Management Institute (PMI) or Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certificationLast Update: Sep 2017Work ShiftDay (Mexico)
