We care about our customer’s needs and operate globally to provide products and services effectively and efficiently.We are hiringQuality Technician / Metrology (afternoon shift)This is a hands-on position that works on the manufacturing floor and in the quality lab to support Quality Inspection requirements in support of the company’s Quality System.Functions:- Performs quality test, inspection and verification of:Incoming material.Outside vendor-processed material.In-process production parts.Finished productsNew products (NPIs)- Uses a variety of measurement tools for inspection, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, optical comparators, etc.- Maintains necessary quality certification records.- Assist with resolution of Corrective and Preventive Actions.- Assists with PPAPs, APQP, FMEAs and Control Plans and tracks progress through the approval process.- Conducts internal and external audits as assigned by the Quality Manager or QMS coordinator.- Communicates frequently with Production, Engineering, Purchasing and Customer Service regarding quality issues and updates.- Coordinates and monitors metrology tool calibration and verification program for internal and customer provided tools and fixtures.**Requirements**:- 5+ years of experience in quality inspection, working with metal formed parts, preferably for the automotive industry.- Live close to the work area.- English (mandatory)- On site position 100%- Availability to work afternoon shiftAbove the law benefits:- Christmas Bonus: 25 days.- Vacation Premium 40%.- Savings Fund.- Medical Benefits: Major and minor medical for family.- Life insurance.If you meet the specifications of the position, dare to meet us and be part of this great work teamTipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSueldo: $25,000.00 - $30,000.00 al mesBeneficios:- Seguro de gastos médicos- Seguro de gastos médicos mayores- Seguro de vidaLugar de trabajo: Empleo presencial
