Expeditors is headquartered in Seattle, Washington.**Job Description**:Scope of PositionEnsure the highest customer service level through the proper document and information management, while providing an exceptional customer service within the transportation department, complying with all procedures and policies of the company.Key DeliverablesProactively monitor the following key metrics to achieve the expected results:- Employee Satisfaction- Complete 52 hours training per year (4.33 per month).- Complete mandatory trainings- Operational Performance- OPS/OPA properly follow up.- OSD/PNC properly follow up.- Edoc timely updates and recordkeeping.- Data Quality- EDI properly usage.- District Excellence understanding and execution.- Customer Loyalty- Customer SOPs updated in a timely manner.- Customer’s approved list - updated and complete.- Finance- Service Provider Payments (ACH & Check).- DAP/DDP Policy (FDS).- Incoterms (Prepaid / Collect).- Compliance- Transportation Security Administration (TSA)- Federal Maritime Commission (FMC)- Trade Partners.- In bonds.- Importer Security Filing (ISF)- Personnel Development- Invest in your personal development by taking courses that you value as essential for your career and personal growth.Adhere to the company’s 10 cultural attributesAir & Ocean Data Entry Agent job responsibilities:- Utilize all developed transportation department’s tools - including but not limited to:- Air import’s workflow.- Ocean import’s workflow.- Settlement report.- MB report.- Air import’s shipment monitoring report.- EDOC - in a daily basis, avoid paper.- All transportation-automated reports - related to OPS, OPA, shipment processing, and shipment status.- Understand and execute according to all compliance requirements; avoid fines, penalties or warning related to compliance.- Understand and comply with FMC & TSA rules and regulations.- Understand and execute in accordance to the products local procedures written and maintained in our local F drive.- Comply with all product requests and make sure information is processed within the required KPI’s. Ensure we always met customer’s expectations.- Track and trace transportation files as required; this can be done internally via exp.o, or externally either via carrier websites or by telephone to carrier offices.- Ensure smooth and timely information data entry and document flow.- Proper follow up of all reports that correspond to the product handled by the transportation team - including but not limited to:- OCL/OLA.- Customer’s approved list - filter to make sure all customers are recognized in the transportation team.- Free domicile report.- OSD report - and make sure OSD processes is completed.- Request for support on a timely manner, and ensure that all commitments made with internal clients are met.- Actively collaborate as a team member in problem resolutions.- Professional communication and interaction with internal customer, other expeditor’s offices (origins, destinations gateways, etc).- Correct utilization of company’s resources.- Avoid BNP or AR issues, by executing correctly while processing the shipment.- Contribute to maintain strong relationships with vendors (airlines, steam ship lines trucking companies, and others).- Escalation of problems to Management when necessary.Security, Health and Safety- Security and Safety Policies.- Responsible to inform immediately to the Branch’s Health and Safety representative any unsafe condition that could put employees at risk in the work place environment.- Responsible to inform immediately to the Branch’s Health and Safety representative any incident or accident, regardless if the affected employee does not look hurt.**Qualifications**:Skills and experience reburied to be the most effective in this position.- 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.- Understanding of air & ocean import process (preferred)- Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results.- Pro-active, strong organizational skills.- Good computer skills (Excel, Word).- Fluent in English 80%.Additional Information- All your information will be kept confidential according
