Run what runs the world.This Position reports to:Procurement Team Lead**Your Role: Own the Challenge**In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of purchasing and logistics-related activities within the Procurement function to support business operations. You will execute assigned tasks following ABB’s standard procedures and contribute to continuous improvement by participating in training programs and promoting professional development.The work model for the role is: OnsiteGlobal relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position.This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Building factory in Nogales.**Key Responsibilities**:- Execute purchasing and logistics strategies to support business goals by optimizing cost, quality, and supplier reliability.- Design and implement effective local sourcing plans to meet business targets.- Support the deployment of local sourcing strategies aligned with business needs and future requirements.**Qualifications**:- 1-2 years of experience in procurement and/or logistics.- Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP.- Advanced English proficiency.- Experience in supplier negotiation and relationship management is a plus.- Background in manufacturing environments is a strong advantage.- Bachelor’s degree completed.**We also offer our employees the following benefits**:- Performance Bonus- Saving fund- Paid parental leave- Life insurance- Retirement plan- Health and dental insurance- Wellbeing program- Flex days- Employee Assistance Program (PAE)- Access to development platforms: Spark, Harvard Manager Mentor and English Learning EF English Live School (EF)
