POSITION OBJECTIVE
Resource management to maintain and improve productive equipment in the area of control, automation, and robotics. Interaction with the different productive departments for joint support, resulting in the operation of the equipment, in addition to the execution of preventive maintenance plans, corrective maintenance execution, and the application of continuous improvement in control in order to improve metrics such as OEE, Availability, MTTR, MTBF, Scrap, etc.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monthly budget management (OPEX).
- Evaluation of the metrics (MTTR / MTBF).
- Staff management for floor support.
- Management of work orders (Corrective / Preventive) using ERP software.
- Inventory control in control equipment.
- Management and justification of improvement projects (CAPEX).
- Application of methodologies for problem identification (8D's, PDCA, Ishikawa, 5 Why's).
- Support for the introduction of new projects.
- Identification of obsolete systems and change management.
- Meetings with the multidisciplinary team for problem solving.
- Floor support for fault diagnosis (Robots, PLC, CNC).
- Availability to rotate shifts.
- Follow BRP values and behaviors.
- Ensure a safe working environment and take full accountability for all safety-related topics.
- Enforce Quality BRP policy.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Availability.
- MTTR (Mean Time To Repair).
- MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures).
- OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
- SCRAP.
- Time-out.
- Work orders.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Control, Automation, Robotics, or Electronics.
Experience:
Min. 4 years of experience.
Language:
- Fluent in Spanish written and verbal.
- English written and verbal (Min: 80%).
- Knowledge of French or German is an advantage.
