**Planning Intern**We are hiring a **Planning Intern** to ensure accurate and timely processing of Designtex orders to establish and maintain an effective customer experience.**What You Will Be Doing**:- Work with other team members to understand product purchasing/inventory requirements.- Actively work with the day-to-day required tasks.- Participate in team meetings (calls)- Participate in the process that settles an appropriate inventory level is.- Work with internal customers to determine order status and disposition.- Able to understand product lead times and work within product capacity constraints- Complete various projects and reports as requested by Team Lead or Manager.**Who you are****Required Skills or Competencies**- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related.- Advanced written and oral English (95% or above)- To graduate in December 2025 or later.- Availability to work from 7am to 4pm.- Basic Microsoft knowledge**Preferred Skills or Competencies**- Ability to effectively communicate in a professional manner with internal and external customers.- Ability to work in mínimally supervised situations and ability to handle non-standard events.- Ability to effectively organize workload to accomplish assigned tasks in a timely and accurate manner.- Ability to recognize problems and act on them.- Proficient in the use of basic technology programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook.**Why people choose to work with us**:At Steelcase, we put people at the center of everything we do.
