Senior Supply Chain Manager, Inbound Supply Chain, Mexico
hace 6 días
Description
Amazon is looking for a highly analytical manager to join the Mexico Supply Chain team. The Supply Chain team is responsible for long-term capacity and network planning, as well as short-term supply chain execution between Amazon's sellers/vendors, fulfillment centers, and downstream partners.
As a Senior Supply Chain Manager with Inbound Supply Chain (IB SC), you will have a holistic view of supply chain and demand within the Amazon fulfillment network. With the goal of serving our customers better, you will be an integral part of diagnosing problems, conceiving, building, and implementing solutions to drive efficiencies for strategic initiatives across inbound supply chain, thus optimizing inventory placement, speed, and cost. You will work in a fast-paced, fluid environment and communicate business conditions and decisions effectively with stakeholders across multiple groups and levels – from warehouse associates to various Amazon Directors and VPs. There will rarely be a perfect solution, so it will be up to you to seek out problems, dive deep into data, generate insights, deliver results that guide operational excellence through data-driven decisions, and manage stakeholder relationships while planning and executing within an ever-changing environment.
This role is a blend of short-term execution and long-term planning that requires quick decision-making with incomplete data while also thinking big and influencing the strategic direction of the network. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and statistical abilities, acumen and judgment, curiosity, strong technical skills, and written and verbal communication skills. They will have a strong bias toward driven decision-making. They will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, able to think creatively (while paying careful attention to detail), and able to manage a wide spread of stakeholders across Amazon. They will enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic environment. If you are excited about it, are results-oriented, and want to join a growing analytics team within Amazon, this role is for you. Are you up for the challenge?
Key job responsibilities
- Make sound business judgments to drive both tactical and strategic improvements.
- Own programmatic execution at both detailed and strategic levels.
- Identify, prioritize, and implement processes to eliminate defects in the supply chain.
- Create, develop, and drive solutions that lead to a richer end-to-end customer experience.
- Execute thorough root cause analysis and deliver results.
- Successfully operate and influence in a cross-functional capacity.
- Communicate across multiple stakeholders to align our inbound supply chain.
A day in the life
As part of Amazon MX, you will be able to shape our future network while providing agile and creative solutions to daily challenges. You will positively impact the experience of our selling partners and our customers by ensuring the right inventory allocation.
About the team

- Experience managing teams.
- 5+ years of supply chain experience.
