And so much more.Come break through with us.Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings - carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.**Role Purpose**:Performs a variety of key technical duties and activities. Leads projects to improve overall process and technical efficiency**Key Responsibilities**:- Recommends changes to methods and procedures- Provides feedback and coaching to others- Coordinates work of others and provides training as required- Assigns appropriate confidentiality status to materials and may take action to ensure compliance- Interpolates from facts to understand root cause and resolve problems- Designs and runs basic experiments- In addition to maintaining internal customer relations, may interact with external contacts**Experiences/Education - Required**:- Associates Degree in related field or equivalent experience- Moderate job content knowledge**Experiences/Education - Desired**:- Bachelors Degree- Successful track record of performance in chosen field- 1-3 years relevant work experienceCorning Puts YOU FirstWe are committed to supporting your health, financial, career development, and life goals as you grow professionally and personally to achieve your highest potential.
